Safety Design was born with ISA, likewise ISA was born by Safety Design.
In 1999 the first italian major infrastructural work ruled by the newborn legislation on “Safety at Work during the construction phases” (High-Speed railway line section Napoli-Milano AV/AC Firenze-Bologna) happened to be assigned to ISA’s founder Ing. Antonino Crea
Great results in terms of safety were achieved – as the winning of a prize as the safest building site in Europe- which allowed ISA to confirm its name throughout other High-Speed railway line’s and Highways’ building sites as safety designer:
- High-Speed railway line Milano Novara and Novara Torino section, (CAVToMi)
- High-Speed railway line Roma Napoli section (IRICAV)
- High-Capacity railway line Torino-Venezia 2001-2006
- Railway line Linea Faentina and connection to Firenze S. Maria Novella 1999-2000
- Milan’s Tangenziale Esterna Est (TEEM) -Highway-
- Bridge over Messina’s strait
- Verona Vicenza Padova railway line (IRICAVDUE)
- High Speed railway line Genova Milano (COCIV)
In conclusion, ISA may consider itself as the Italian High Speed Railway line’s Safety Designer
